Good model - poor paint
As others have pointed out. The Model is amazing in shape, but the paint job is less than stellar.
I think it would have been better to let the model collectors paint it then what it was ship as.
Also, the paint job is extremely dull unlike the picture

Too little quality for too much money.
I received my Megathron today. The model is sturdy and the shape is well cast. The paint on the other hand... well, sucks. There are paint strokes that allow the dark undercoat to come through the green paint that is on the hull. The white dots that represent running/interior lights are blotchy in some spot and some were placed half on the hull, half where they were supposed to be. Some of the detail paint goes beyond its intended perimeter, overflowing onto the hull where it should not. I understand that not all models will be perfect, but to advertise it with Nick Sainton-Clark's name AND as a collector’s model, I'd expect much more for the amount of money these things cost. Might as well lower the price significantly and send a color-coded chart with the model to allow the buyer to paint it themselves. Or at least have some sort of quality control before approving a Collector’s Item to be shipped. I'm disappointed in this purchase.

Good Lookin!
I have always loved the design of the thron and feel that its one of the best looking ships around. The photo represents this piece exactly. Besides the lighting in the photo the model looks exactly the same. The model feels very solid and the stand is high quality as well. I gave this a good rating as I feel that an excellent rating would entail a bit more detail. I am very happy with my purchase and have already gotten tons of questions from people around the office. They know I am a Sci-Fi freak and love to hear my stories about eve.

Great Model
Today I received my egathron model. Opened it with great expectation and was not disappointed. It is heavier, larger, more solid and more detailed than what I expected. Great display piece! Would have given it 5 stars if it had a shinier, more metallic finish like shown on the picture. Great ship and great model, good quality craftsmanship. If you love the megathron get this model, you won’t be disappointed.

Sweet
Well, not much of a fan of the Mega in game, but this model, is smooth as sin!
The paint is smooth with no issues, very good render of whats in game. Well worth the purchase for any Mega lover out there!
I would love to see a Rokh come out sometime!
